Mr Reeks will be leaving the practice at the end of December after 7 years. There will be no interruption to the continuation of treatment or appointments as we are delighted to welcome Dr Siobhan Hewson to the practice, she will be taking over from Mr Reeks.
Siobhan was brought up in Aberdeen, she moved to London to study dentistry at Kings College London where she graduated with a BDS with honours. After completing her studies, she decided to stay and lived and worked in general practice in central London. After becoming “Mummy” to Findlay (age 2) and Gabriella (age 11 months), she decided it was time to leave the big city and move closer to family and back to her hometown.
She takes great pride in her work and strives to ensure every patient receives high quality treatment and has the best possible experience. As such, she dedicates a lot of time to developing her clinical skills. This ensures she is constantly renewing her expertise, so that she can deliver the safest and most up-to-date, evidence-based techniques to her patients.
She has a special interest in endodontics (root canal treatment), but she provides a wide range of routine dental care, including restorative treatments, dental emergencies, teeth straightening, whitening, white fillings, and crowns. Having gained her MFDS to the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and a master’s degree with distinction in root canal treatment, she is now working towards a diploma in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
Siobhan is a caring and enthusiastic professional, constantly striving for excellence. Her kind and friendly approach and warm personality, help patients to feel comfortable and at ease.
